CHAPTER 3 — "The Undercover Mission No One Was Supposed to Know"

The prison siren screamed through every corridor.

Steel doors slammed shut.

Electronic locks clicked one after another.

Within seconds, Blackstone Women's Correctional Facility was in full lockdown.

The inmates were shoved back toward the housing block while armed officers flooded the hallways.

Nobody spoke.

Nobody even looked at Emily.

The same women who had mocked her only minutes earlier now kept their distance as if she carried something more dangerous than a weapon.

Brenda walked silently at the end of the line.

For the first time in fifteen years behind bars...

She wasn't the most feared woman in prison anymore.

Inside the warden's office, the atmosphere was tense.

Three federal agents stood beside the window.

A thick classified file lay on the desk.

The cover read:

CONFIDENTIAL – OPERATION IRON WEB

Warden Samuel Graves looked directly at Emily.

"You weren't supposed to be exposed for at least three weeks."

Emily calmly removed the prison jacket from her shoulders.

"I know."

"Someone leaked my identity."

One of the federal agents clenched his jaw.

"That operation has taken eighteen months to prepare."

"We've already lost four undercover officers."

Emily opened the file.

Photographs covered every page.

Drug shipments.

Money transfers.

Secret prison meetings.

Corrupt guards.

Judges.

Politicians.

Even police officers.

Blackstone Prison wasn't just holding criminals.

It had become the headquarters of a nationwide criminal network run entirely from inside its walls.

One name appeared repeatedly.

The Queen.

No photograph.

No fingerprints.

No confirmed identity.

Only one fact.

Every murder...

Every escape...

Every shipment...

Required her approval.

Emily closed the file.

"So Brenda isn't running this prison."

The room fell silent.

Agent Lewis answered quietly.

"No."

"She's only muscle."

"The real leader has stayed invisible for eight years."

Emily looked toward the prison yard through the office window.

Hundreds of inmates walked below.

One of them...

Was controlling everything.

Without anyone noticing.

"I'll find her."

The agents exchanged uncertain glances.

"You already blew your cover."

Emily shook her head.

"No."

"My cover wasn't blown."

"My arrival was."

"There's a difference."

Meanwhile...

Back in Cell Block C...

Rumors spread faster than wildfire.

"She's military."

"No..."

"She's FBI."

"I heard she's an assassin."

"They say she killed twelve terrorists."

Every version became more unbelievable than the last.

Brenda sat alone on her bunk.

She replayed the fight over and over.

Emily had never attacked first.

Never lost control.

Never used unnecessary force.

Those weren't the instincts of a violent criminal.

Those belonged to someone trained to protect lives.

Late that night...

As lights-out echoed through the block...

A folded piece of paper quietly slid beneath Emily's cell door.

She unfolded it.

Only six handwritten words appeared.

Stop looking for the Queen.

Or you'll disappear tonight.

Emily smiled faintly.

May you like

Finally...

The real game had begun.
