Chapter 7 - The Trap SplintersThe lavatory door was unlocked from the outside by the sky marshals using an emergency key. They yanked Julian out, forcing him onto the floor of the galley and clicking steel handcuffs onto his wrists.

Julian thrashed on the ground, staring up at Clara in absolute horror. "The drive... it was a fake? It was a wire?!"

Clara looked down at him with quiet, cold victory.

"There was no hardware wallet on this plane, Julian," Clara explained. "The real evidence was handed over to the FBI three hours ago in New York. I knew you were taking this flight because I leaked the false rumor that I was fleeing the country with Thomas’s assets."

"You... you baited me," Julian whimpered.

"I needed you to confess on camera," Clara said. "I needed the world to see who you really are—a arrogant bully who couldn't even show basic human decency to a mother and a child, let alone take responsibility for his crimes."
