Chapter 1 - The VIP In Row 12At that exact moment, something happened that no one expected.

A tall, impeccably dressed elderly man in a bespoke navy suit stood up from First Class, stepping through the velvet curtain into the economy cabin. His presence alone commanded absolute silence. Beside him walked the lead flight attendant, holding a tablet and looking deathly pale.
The elderly man’s name was Arthur Sterling—founder and majority shareholder of TransGlobal Airways.
"Is there a problem here, young man?" Arthur’s voice was like velvet dipped in steel.
Julian—the young man in the white Panama hat and sunglasses—didn't recognize Arthur. He merely smirked, tossing his phone onto the tray table. "Yeah, there’s a problem. This woman thinks she can park her crying machine next to me. I paid for a peaceful flight. Get her out of my sight."
Arthur looked at Clara, the exhausted mother holding her tiny baby wrapped in a faded blue blanket. Then, Arthur looked down at his tablet, cross-referencing Clara's boarding pass details.
"Young man," Arthur said softly, his eyes narrowing. "Do you know who owns this aircraft?"
"I don't care if the Pope owns it," Julian snapped, adjusting his sunglasses. "I’m a senior partner at Vance Capital. I have an empire to run. She’s nobody."
Arthur smiled—a cold, terrifying smile that sent a shiver down the spine of every passenger listening.

"Well, Mr. Vance Capital," Arthur said quietly. "The woman you just called 'nobody' happens to be Clara Vance... the widow of your late older brother, Thomas."
The cabin gasped. Julian froze, his smirk instantly evaporating.
