Adam’s own lawyers seemed hesitant to strike back, terrified of the media fallout.
Adam finally stood up. He walked to the stand, took the microphone, and looked at the judge. “Your Honor, my daughter called me because she was hiding in a dumpster. I am not the CEO of Richardson Global today. I am a father. And if this court allows that man to have any proximity to my child, I will sue every entity in this building for complicity in child endangerment.”
The room went silent. The judge looked at Rick Donnelly, then at Adam, and saw the truth: a billionaire who had found something worth more than money.
