Chapter 2 - THE SPIDER'S WEB UNRAVELS🚹 EXPOSED: Inside the Calculated Gold-Digger Blueprint That Fooled High Society! The interrogation room in the basement of Hale Manor was soundproof, windowless, and lit by a harsh, single-bulb overhead fixture. There were no chandeliers here, no polished Italian marble, and no expensive artwork. Just concrete, steel, and absolute truth.

Bianca Laurent sat handcuffed to a heavy metal table, her designer dress wrinkled, her hair no longer immaculate. The untouchable queen of elite society was gone; in her place sat a cornered animal realizing the cage had locked permanently.

The heavy steel door swung open.

Julian walked in, followed not by the police—not yet—but by Marcus Vance, the ruthless senior partner of Hale Enterprises’ legal department, carrying a thick leather briefcase.

Julian didn’t sit. He stood at the head of the table, leaning forward with his knuckles pressed against the cold metal, staring down at his former fiancĂ©e.

"Let's talk timeline, Bianca," Julian said smoothly, opening a sleek tablet. "Let's talk about how a starving art history major from a rundown suburb in Chicago suddenly transforms into a sophisticated philanthropist capable of worming her way into my mother's inner circle."

Bianca lifted her chin, attempting a defiant smirk, though her lower lip trembled. "You can't do this, Julian. We're engaged. Pre-nuptial agreements aside, arresting me without formal police charges violates—"

"We haven't called the police yet," Marcus Vance interrupted smoothly, snapping open his briefcase and pulling out a stack of financial audits. "Mr. Hale prefers a clean corporate restructuring before involving local law enforcement. It saves time on press releases."

Julian swiped on his tablet, projecting documents onto the smart wall behind Bianca.

"Three years ago, you changed your legal name from Brenda Jenkins," Julian recited, his voice completely devoid of emotion. "You systematically targeted my father’s old business associates, wormed your way into charity boards, and engineered a 'chance meeting' at the Met Gala where you dropped your vintage cigarette case right at my feet."

Bianca’s eyes narrowed. "People reinvent themselves, Julian. That's not a crime."

"No, reinvention isn't a crime," Julian agreed, tapping the screen to reveal a new set of bank statements. "Embezzlement, falsifying medical records, and conspiring to commit elder abuse certainly are."

Marcus slid a document across the table. "We pulled the digital records from Dr. Harrison’s clinic—the neurologist treating your mother. Or rather, the neurologist you secretly bribed with two hundred thousand dollars in offshore cryptocurrency to alter Martha Hale's diagnostic charts, exaggerating her cognitive decline to make her look incompetent."

Bianca stared at the transaction ID displayed on the paper. The blood drained from her face entirely.

"You hacked my offshore accounts?" she whispered in disbelief.

"I didn't hack anything," Julian replied flatly. "Your cybersecurity protocol was managed by an IT firm that Hale Enterprises bought out last month. I owned the servers before you even finished your first cup of coffee this morning."

The Real Target RevealedBianca realized denial was completely useless. The armor she had worn for years was shattered into dust. Slowly, the terror in her eyes morphed into something darker, something twisted and bitter.

A low, raspy laugh escaped her throat.

She leaned back against the metal chair, a cruel grin stretching across her face.

"You think you're so smart, Julian, don't you? You think you caught the master criminal," Bianca spat, her voice dripping with venom. "You think stopping me tonight means your precious empire is safe?"

Julian’s eyes narrowed. "What are you talking about?"

"You're looking at the wrong threat, CEO Hale," Bianca hissed, her eyes gleaming with manic triumph. "I was just the scalpel. I was the one hired to weaken the foundation from the inside. But the earthquake? The earthquake is already inside your boardroom."

Marcus Vance frowned, exchanging a sharp glance with Julian. "Explain."

Bianca threw her head back and laughed—a sharp, piercing sound in the concrete room.

"Check your main server mainframe at corporate headquarters right now, Julian. Look at your stock allocations for the subsidiary accounts. While you were busy playing detective with your mommy in the backyard, your greatest ally just signed away your controlling shares to the Vanguard Syndicate."

Julian’s phone buzzed violently in his pocket.

Ignoring Bianca entirely, he pulled it out and tapped the screen. It was an emergency encrypted alert from his Chief Technology Officer:

CRITICAL ALERT: Unauthorized root override detected on Master Ledger. Core assets transferring to external holding entity 'Aegis Trust'. Action required immediately.

Julian looked up from the screen. His expression had gone from cold to an absolute, terrifying void.

Bianca smiled up at him, her eyes wide and unhinged. "Checkmate, Julian."
