Emily reluctantly agreed to meet Daniel one final time.
Not because she trusted him.

Daniel looked exhausted.
"I swear... I never knew."
Emily slid the old contracts across the table.
"Then explain your signature."
Daniel's face turned pale.

He had signed everything without reading.
