Inside the mansion, the lawyer placed Eleanor’s final letter on the table.
Grace refused to sit.
She had spent eight years raising her son alone while Ethan built an empire pretending they never existed.
Victoria pointed at the child.
“This could be fake! She wants the money!”
Grace opened her purse and placed an old photo on the table.
It showed Ethan smiling beside her in a tiny apartment, his hand resting on her pregnant belly.
The room went silent.
Ethan whispered, “Grace... I can explain.”
She laughed through her tears.
“No. You explained everything when you changed your number.”
The lawyer cleared his throat.
“Madam Eleanor requested a DNA test before changing the will. The results are confirmed.”
Victoria stumbled backward.
Her billionaire wedding was gone.
Her private jet lifestyle was gone.
Her future was now standing in front of her...
A little boy Ethan had thrown away.
Then the lawyer read the last line of Eleanor’s letter:
“My fortune does not belong to the son who denied his mother. It belongs to the child who was denied by his father.”
Ethan dropped to his knees.
