Chapter 8 - THE PEAK OF THE WORLDOne year later.

The private helicopter hovered smoothly above the jagged, snow-dusted ridge of Nevado de Toluca, its blades cutting through the crisp mountain air with a steady, powerful hum.
Inside the cabin, Elena sat by the window, wrapped in a thick white cashmere coat. In her lap sat little Julián, now a chubby, bright-eyed one-year-old who was babbling happily and clutching a small wooden toy helicopter in his tiny hands.
Sitting across from her was Adrián, looking out over the breathtaking expanse of pine forests and frozen peaks stretching out below them for hundreds of miles.
"Are you sure you wanted to come back here, Elena?" Adrián asked gently, his eyes filled with quiet concern. "We didn't have to fly over the ridge today."
Elena looked down through the glass window at the exact spot where she had fallen twelve months ago—the rocky ledge where the snow had once threatened to bury her forever.
The memory of the freezing wind, the crushing pain, and Víctor's cold, blank stare flashed briefly through her mind. But it didn't hurt anymore. The terror was gone. Replaced entirely by the roaring strength of a woman who had clawed her way back from the grave and claimed the world.
She smiled, gently kissing the top of her son's head.
"I needed to see it, Dad," Elena said softly, her voice filled with absolute peace. "Not as a victim. But as a conqueror."

Adrián smiled back, reaching out to squeeze her hand warmly.
The helicopter banked gracefully toward the east, turning its nose away from the snowy peaks and heading toward the sprawling, sunlit skyline of Mexico City—where a vast empire, a thriving family, and a brilliant, unbreakable future were waiting for them under the golden morning sun.
