Chapter 10 - The Unbroken CircleViral Facebook Headline:❤️ THE ULTIMATE HAPPY ENDING! SHE CHASED PAIN FOR YEARS, UNTIL THE MAN WHO TRULY LOVED HER GAVE HER THE ENDING SHE DESERVED! 🌟

Six months later.

The autumn air over Charlotte was crisp, painted in brilliant shades of amber, gold, and crimson.

The annual Brightwell Civic Trust gala was taking place in the grand ballroom of the historic Carolina Hotel—crystal chandeliers glittering overhead, string quartets playing softly in the background, and laughter echoing across the polished marble floors.

Lena Hartwell stood before the full-length dressing mirror in her private suite, smoothing down the fabric of an elegant, flowing emerald-green silk gown that caught the golden ambient lighting with every movement.

The door clicked open, and Noah walked into the room.

He was wearing a classic tailored black tuxedo, white dress shirt, and a dark silk tie, looking breathtakingly handsome. He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw her, his breath catching in his throat.

“Wow,” Noah breathed, walking slowly across the room until he stood right behind her, resting his hands gently on her shoulders and looking at their reflection in the mirror. “Just... wow, Len.”

Lena turned around in his arms, wrapping her hands around his neck. “Do I pass inspection, Mr. Camden?”

“Exceeds all federal and municipal regulations,” he smiled, pulling her flush against his chest.

Before heading down to the ballroom, Noah reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a small, elegant velvet box.

Lena’s breath hitched. The room around them seemed to fade away entirely.

Noah dropped gracefully to one knee right there on the suite’s plush carpet, looking up at her with eyes full of absolute devotion, unwavering loyalty, and a lifetime of quiet love.

“Lena Hartwell,” Noah said, his voice steady and clear, filled with a depth that made her soul sing. “I’ve spent ten years being your best friend, your safe harbor, and your biggest fan. I don't want to be just the guy who shows up anymore. I want to be the man who stays. Forever.”

He popped open the velvet box. Inside rested a vintage-cut diamond ring that caught the candlelight like a tiny star.

“Will you marry me, Len?”

Tears streamed freely down Lena’s cheeks—not of sorrow, not of broken promises, but of pure, unadulterated joy.

“Yes,” she whispered, her voice breaking through a happy sob. “Yes, a million times yes.”

Noah slid the ring onto her finger, standing up to pull her into his arms and lift her off her feet as they kissed amidst a shower of pure happiness.

Downstairs in the grand ballroom, Cass Monroe was watching from the balcony with a massive glass of champagne in her hand, cheering louder than anyone else in the room.
