Chapter 6 - The Grand ExitThe ballroom doors swung open once more, but this time it wasn't lawyers or guests arriving—it was a squad of local law enforcement officers accompanied by hotel security.

The head hotel manager, sweating profusely despite the air conditioning, walked up to Arthur and bowed slightly. "Mr. Reed. We... we had no idea. The corporate audit codes just updated on our central registry. We are entirely at Miss Elena's disposal."
"Thank you, Director," Arthur nodded. "Please escort our uninvited guests off the premises. The reservation for this ballroom expired at ten PM, and the new owner wishes to prep the space for a much more productive corporate seminar tomorrow morning."

"Sarah Vance, you are being detained for questioning regarding allegations of physical assault, public battery, and corporate fraud," the lead officer stated, his handcuffs clicking open with a sharp, metallic ring.
"No! No, you can't touch me! Do you know who my husband is?!" Sarah shrieked, thrashing as the cuffs were locked around her wrists. She cast one last, venomous glare toward me. "Monster! You'll rot for this! You'll never know peace!"
As they dragged her past the shattered champagne flutes and the discarded wedding cake, my father was helped to his feet by the second officer, his head bowed low in utter humiliation. He didn't dare look me in the eye.

Mason was busy on his phone, frantically calling his lawyers to initiate an emergency annulment, completely abandoning Chloe as she sat alone on the floor, weeping hysterically into her ruined tulle skirt.
The two hundred wedding guests had long since fled, leaving behind a ghost town of expensive decorations, half-eaten meals, and silent cameras still recording the wreckage.
