Chapter 5 - Echoes of the Past

Facebook Hook: "The keyboard was dead. Then an old man in the back row pulled out a violin..."The man who walked through the back doors of the courtroom looked like a ghost. He was frail, his hair stark white, leaning heavily on a cane, with a worn violin case slung over his shoulder.
Evelyn Hale gasped, her face draining of all color. She stood up so fast her chair fell backward. "No... it can't be. You're dead."
"Not dead, Evelyn," the old man said, his voice echoing with deep, melodic resonance. "Just hiding from you."
It was Julian Hale.
The courtroom descended into absolute chaos. Flashes exploded everywhere. The musical genius who supposedly jumped off a bridge twenty years ago was standing alive in front of them.
Julian walked past the stunned lawyers straight to Lily. He looked down at her with eyes full of tears. "You played my song perfectly at the hotel, little one. But it’s missing a part. Want to play the duet with me?"
The court technicians scrambled to fix the power issue, realizing the cord had simply been stepped on by one of Evelyn's guards. The power light flashed green.
Without waiting for the judge's permission, Julian drew his bow across the violin strings. A piercing, heartbreaking note filled the room.
Lily’s eyes lit up. She didn't need sheet music. She heard the violin, and her hands moved automatically to the keys.

The judge sat back, completely spellbound. The lawyers forgot to object. Evelyn Hale sank into her chair, realizing her empire hadn't just cracked—it was completely shattered.
The Chapter 5 Cliffhanger: As the final note faded into an emotional silence, Julian turned to the judge and pulled a document from his coat. "Your Honor, I am the rightful owner of all Hale Corporation musical copyrights. And today, I am legally transferring everything to my niece, Lily, under the guardianship of Naomi Hart." But Evelyn wasn't done. She stood up, her eyes wild, and screamed, "You think you won? If I lose the company, I will burn it to the ground! Look at the news!"
