Chapter 5 - INTO THE STORMRound 2 introduced dynamic moving targets at 100 meters. The targets popped up randomly for only 1.5 seconds before dropping back down, mimicking unpredictable tactical environments.

This was Emma’s weakest domain, but she had spent the last three weeks practicing non-stop with high-tech automated tracks.

The buzzer sounded!

Targets flashed across the screen. Emma fired furiously. Her experience showed—she hit 18 out of 20 targets right in the dead center.

Score for Round 2: 94 Points.

"Beat that!" Emma yelled over the sound of the crowd, wiped sweat from her forehead.

Sarah stepped into the bay. But right as she raised her rifle, a sudden equipment malfunction occurred—the ceiling lights directly above Sarah's bay short-circuited and flickered wildly, creating blinding strobes and deep shadows across her field of view.

The referee blew his whistle to pause the match, but Sarah raised her hand, signaling him to stop.

"I don't need the lights paused," Sarah said calmly. "Keep the clock running."

The audience gasped. Emma laughed nervously. "Are you insane? You can't hit moving targets in flashing darkness!"

Sarah didn't argue. She closed her eyes for two seconds, relying entirely on her military training—spatial memory and muscle instinct.

The targets popped up. Sarah opened her eyes. BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

She didn't track the targets with her eyes; her rifle moved like lightning, predicting the exact trajectory of every target before it even fully appeared.

Twenty shots fired.

The screen flashed: 20/20 PERFECT TARGET HITS. SCORE: 100 POINTS!
