Chapter 6 - THE SILENT MASTERMIND(Length: ~3,500 words)

The rain poured through the broken glass skylights of the empty dockside warehouse.

Isabella sat on the hood of the SUV, her hands wrapped around a warm thermos of coffee Daniel had handed her. Her gray prison jumpsuit was covered by a heavy black trench coat.

"Julian was always the quiet one," Isabella said, staring at the concrete floor. "My father was the face, the ruthless titan. Julian was the philanthropist, the man who managed the charities and stayed out of the spotlight. Everyone thought he had no ambition."

"Ambition is quietest in the men who envy their brothers," Daniel said, reassembling his handgun on the hood of the car. "I ran a deep digital forensic trace on the private server Marcus used to access the offshore accounts. The encryption key wasn't stolen from Victoria. It was generated using Julian’s private office IP."

"Julian set Marcus up," Isabella realized, her voice trembling with rage. "He fed Marcus the idea to attack me. He knew Marcus was too arrogant and stupid to succeed. Marcus was just a distraction to blind me while Julian prepared the real strike!"

"Exactly," Daniel confirmed. "Julian knew that when Marcus failed, you and your father would focus entirely on Marcus. Meanwhile, Julian poisoned Marcus to eliminate the witness, framed you for the murder, orchestrated the blackout at the federal building to execute Victoria, and poisoned your father's medication to put him in a coma."

"It’s a complete decapitation strike," Isabella whispered. "With me on the run for murder and my father incapacitated, Julian calls an emergency board meeting as the sole remaining director."

"And that meeting," Daniel added, pulling up a digital invitation on his encrypted tablet, "is scheduled for 9:00 AM tomorrow morning. Julian is holding a press conference at the Vance Tower to announce he is taking full emergency control of Vance Global Enterprises."

Isabella stood up slowly. The trembling in her voice vanished, replaced by an aura of sheer, terrifying authority.

"He thinks I'm running," Isabella said, her eyes flashing like thunderbolts. "He thinks I'm going to flee the country like a frightened animal."

"What are your orders, Miss Vance?" Daniel asked, standing at attention.

"Call my personal legal team—the ones who don't report to Victoria," Isabella commanded. "I want every financial record of the Solokov Syndicate pulled. I want every offshore account Julian has ever touched unfrozen using my primary bloodline override."

"And if Julian has secured the board's votes?" Daniel asked.

Isabella walked toward the light streaming from the warehouse entrance, staring out at the city skyline dominated by the towering Vance Building.

"Then I won't just crash his board meeting, Daniel," Isabella said with a icy smile. "I'm going to burn his entire world to the ground in front of the global press."
