Chapter 5 - YOU THOUGHT SHE WAS JUST A CHAIRWOMAN? THE REAL POWER BEHIND THE TRUTH REVEALED!

Before Julian could even comprehend Eleanor's words, the massive glass dome ceiling above the ballroom shattered into thousands of tiny sparkling pieces.
Red laser dots rained down from the night sky. Four heavily armed, black-ops tactical agents rappelled down ropes straight through the shattered glass, landing with absolute precision on the ballroom floor.
"Drop the weapon! NOW!" a tactical commander shouted, aiming a high-powered rifle directly at Julian’s head. At least six red laser sights converged directly onto Julian’s forehead and chest.
Julian froze, paralyzed by absolute terror. The knife in his hand shook so violently that it rattled against his knuckles.
"Madam Chairwoman Vance is not just an executive, Julian," Eleanor’s chief security officer said coldly. "She is the special advisor to the International Financial Crime Task Force. You aren't just facing corporate fraud—you are facing international terrorism charges."
"Please... please don't shoot!" Julian wept, his knees giving out entirely. He dropped the knife and slumped onto the floor, pulling his hands over his head.
In a fraction of a second, two tactical agents tackled Julian to the floor, pinning his hands behind his back and snapping heavy steel handcuffs around his wrists.
Maya stood trembling, hyperventilating as the adrenaline rushed through her veins. Eleanor walked over quickly, wrapping her arms around her lost daughter, pulling her tight against her chest.
"I have you," Eleanor whispered, her voice cracking as tears finally overflowed down her cheeks. "I'm so sorry, my child. I'm so sorry it took me so long to find you."
As mother and daughter embraced, Victoria Sterling tried to quietly slip past the tactical team toward the side exit, pulling a stunned Chloe behind her.
"Where do you think you're going, Victoria?" Eleanor’s cold voice cut through the air once more.
May you like
Victoria stopped, turning around with a desperate, terrified smile. "Eleanor... Madam Chairwoman... we were tricked too! Julian lied to us! We are victims here! Please, we have a reputation..."
Eleanor turned to face them, her eyes colder than absolute zero. "Your reputation is over. And your nightmare is just beginning."
