The awards ceremony was held at the very same ballroom in the Fairmont Olympic hotel where Ethan and Jessica’s world had imploded. But this time, the room was filled with true innovators, loyal friends, and people who respected real strength.
I stood at the podium in a tailored white silk pantsuit, holding the heavy glass trophy in my hands. The applause was deafening, echoing off the crystal chandeliers.
I looked out across the crowd, scanning the VIP tables.
Near the back, sitting quietly in a standard seat, was a broken man in a faded, ill-fitting suit. "Thank you," I said into the microphone, my voice steady, clear, and powerful, ringing out across Seattle and into a future that belonged entirely to us. "To anyone who has ever had their foundation shaken: remember that true strength isn't about holding onto a crumbling wall. It's about having the courage to let it fall, knowing you can always build something infinitely better from the ground up."
