Chapter 6 - The Tables TurnNone of the corporate security guards moved. They knew who paid their salaries, and standing behind Silas was Marcus, holding a heavy manila folder.

Silas didn's even blink. He gestured casually toward Raymond.
“Julian, meet Raymond Wilson,” Silas said smoothly. “My new Chief Operating Officer. And unlike you, Raymond knows the exact value of every single dollar this company generates—because he spent years working for it while you stole from it.”
Julian laughed hysterically, trying to regain his composure as investors whispered among themselves. “A COO?! From where? A homeless shelter?! You’ve lost your mind, Silas! You can't just appoint random vagrants to the executive board!”
“He’s not a vagrant, Julian. He’s my partner,” Silas corrected coldly. He turned to Raymond. “Mr. Wilson, would you care to share what you found in the private subsidiary accounts this morning?”
Raymond stepped forward, placing both hands on the edge of the conference table. His voice was steady, calm, and utterly chilling.
“Over the last eighteen months, Julian Boon systematically funneled twelve million dollars of corporate funds into offshore shell companies in the Cayman Islands,” Raymond recited clearly, flipping open a set of financial audits. “He used corporate assets to purchase three luxury yachts, a penthouse in Monaco, and private gambling debts. Here are the wire-transfer receipts, signed with his personal digital key.”
The boardroom erupted into chaos. Investors stood up, shouting and demanding answers as digital screens flashed red with intercepted banking records.
Julian lunged toward the table, his eyes wild with panic. “Lies! Those documents are forged! He’s lying!”
“The federal prosecutor’s office doesn't think so,” a cold voice echoed from the doorway.
Two federal agents in dark suits stepped into the room, flanked by local authorities. They walked straight toward Julian, pulling handcuffs from their belts.
“Julian Boon, you are under arrest for corporate embezzlement, wire fraud, and falsifying federal documents,” the lead agent declared, clicking the steel cuffs firmly around Julian’s wrists.

As Julian was dragged screaming and kicking out of the boardroom, shouting empty threats at his uncle, absolute silence descended upon the room.
Silas Boon leaned back in his leather chair, a slow, satisfied smile spreading across his face.
