Chapter 6 - The Ultimate Plot Twist

"You can't do this!" Javier screamed, jumping up from his chair. "We are your blood! You're going to give our inheritance to these dirty bikers? To this criminal?!" he pointed a shaking finger at El Chivo.

Ignacio stood up, his posture tall and unyielding. "El Chivo—whose real name is Alejandro—is not a criminal, Javier. He is the boy I took in and sponsored through law school twenty years ago when his own family abandoned him. While you were spending my money in European clubs, Alejandro was running soup kitchens and protecting neighborhoods from cartels. He built this motorcycle group to protect the vulnerable. He gave me more respect in one hour last night than the three of you have given me in a decade."

Ignacio closed the folder with a sharp thud. "The inheritance is gone. It has been legally transferred to a global charity protecting abandoned elders and funding Alejandro's community programs. You will inherit nothing but the names I gave you."

"Please, Dad!" Carmen shrieked, dropping to her knees, grabbing his polished boots. "Don't do this to us! We're your children!"

Ignacio looked down at her, a look of profound sorrow passing through his eyes, replaced quickly by absolute finality. "A father is a title earned through love, care, and presence. Yesterday, you told me to go eat a taco and not to make you feel guilty. Today, I am simply following your advice. I no longer feel guilty."

Without looking back, Ignacio turned and walked out of the courtyard. El Chivo and four large bikers stepped in front of the siblings, blocking them from following.

"Time to leave," El Chivo whispered, a dangerous glint in his eye. "The Don has a birthday lunch to attend, and you aren't on the guest list."
