Chapter 10 - Unbroken HorizonsThe sun rose over Boston Harbor the next morning, painting the sky in brilliant strokes of gold, rose, and amber.

Spring had fully arrived, bringing with it the promise of long, warm days, endless possibilities, and a future untethered from the mistakes of the past.

I sat on the back terrace of the Wellesley house with a cup of hot black coffee in hand, watching the morning breeze ripple through the budding green trees in the garden.

My phone buzzed on the rustic wooden table.

It wasn't Daniel. It wasn't an angry lawyer or a frantic corporate executive.

It was an email notification from the editorial board of New England Architectural Quarterly, confirming that my design was selected for the front cover of their upcoming summer edition.

I smiled, taking a slow sip of my coffee, feeling the warm morning sun wash over my face.
