Chapter 5 - The Fall of the TitansThe silence that followed Julian’s revelation was absolute, heavy enough to crush bones.

Before Marcus Vance could utter another word, the side doors of the auditorium burst open. Four federal agents in dark tactical windbreakers, badges gleaming under the auditorium lights, marched down the center aisle.
"Marcus Vance? And Victor Sterling?" the lead agent called out, his voice crisp and official. "You are under arrest for securities fraud, embezzlement, medical malpractice conspiracy, and wire fraud. Turn around and place your hands behind your back."
Panic broke out. Victor slumped back into his seat, completely paralyzed. Marcus tried to bolt toward the back exit, but two agents intercepted him instantly, slamming him against the oak paneling with a sharp, metallic click of handcuffs. Flashbulbs exploded like lightning storms as reporters captured every single second of the downfall.
Emily buried her face against Julian’s sleeve, startled by the noise. Julian immediately wrapped his arm around her, shielding her small frame from the flashing lights and shouting crowd.
"It's okay, sweetheart," Julian murmured softly into her curls. "The bad men are leaving. They won't ever hurt anyone else."
As the federal agents escorted the weeping, handcuffed executives out of the auditorium, the remaining board members sat frozen in sheer terror. They looked at Julian as if he were a ghost—or a god.
Julian stood up, pulling the microphone close.

"To every member of this board who signed off on those quotas, who looked the other way while innocent people suffocated in charity wards, consider this your one and only warning," Julian announced, his voice vibrating with absolute authority. "Your resignations on my desk by 5:00 PM. If I find a single signature linking you to the embezzlement, I will personally ensure you spend the rest of your natural lives behind bars."
He didn't wait for a response. He scooped Emily into his arms, picked up Mr. Hugs from the chair, and walked out of the auditorium, leaving a multi-billion-dollar corporation in absolute, stunned ruins.
