The sun was setting over the Atlantic Ocean, painting the sky in brilliant shades of gold and crimson from the veranda of a magnificent private villa in Lekki.
Inside the nursery, three healthy, peaceful babies slept soundly in their custom-made cribs.
I stood by the balcony railing, looking out over the manicured gardens. Strong arms wrapped around my waist from behind, pulling me gently against a warm chest.
“Still thinking about your old food stall, my love?” Daniel whispered softly, resting his chin on my shoulder.
I smiled, leaning back into his embrace and placing my hand over his.
“Never,” I murmured, turning around to look into his loving eyes. “I realized something important, Daniel.”
“What’s that?”
“A refrigerator is nice,” I teased lightly, a bright smile playing on my lips. “But a billionaire who knows how to fight for his family is much better.”
Daniel laughed—a rich, joyful sound that echoed across the ocean breeze—and pulled me into a deep, passionate kiss.
