Chapter 3 - THE SECRET LABORATORY 💥Viral Hook Title: SHE AWOKE IN AN UNDERGROUND OPERATING ROOM... AND FOUND OUT WHO HER HUSBAND REALLY WAS!BANG! BANG!

Gunshots shattered the rainy night, but the bullets didn't hit Mark.
From the dark tree line behind the tactical team, a sleek black SUV crashed through the cemetery gates, its high beams blinding the guards. The driver leaned out the window, firing a heavy-caliber handgun into the air.
"GET IN!" a woman’s voice screamed from the SUV.
In the chaos, Mark grabbed Elena by her jacket, pulling her out of the deep muddy pit. They scrambled across the slippery grass, ducking as Julian’s guards returned fire. Bullets whizzed past Elena’s ears, shredding the leaves and chipping stone off headstones.
Elena and Mark threw themselves into the back seat of the SUV. The driver slammed the vehicle into reverse, tires screeching, and tore out of the cemetery into the night.
Elena lay panting on the floorboards, her heart hammering wildly. She looked up at the driver in the rearview mirror.
The driver was a woman in her late thirties, with sharp features, dark hair tied in a tight bun, and a deep scar running along her jawline. She was wearing a blood-stained doctor’s coat under her leather jacket.
"Who are you?!" Mark yelled, pressing a sleeve to his bleeding arm, which had been grazed by glass fragments.
"My name is Dr. Sarah Mercer," the woman said, her eyes fixed on the rain-slicked road. "I used to be the Chief Pathologist at Saint Jude’s Hospital... until Julian Vance destroyed my life and took my medical license."
Elena sat up, leaning forward between the front seats. "You know what’s happening to Victoria?"
Dr. Mercer glanced at Elena through the mirror. "Victoria isn't dead, Elena. And she isn't sick. She’s a Universal Phenotype."
Elena frowned. "A what?"
"A one-in-a-billion genetic anomaly," Dr. Mercer explained bitterly. "Her blood, organs, and tissue possess zero antigens. Her body can donate organs to anyone on Earth without organ rejection. No immune suppressants needed. No match testing. Her organs are worth hundreds of millions of dollars on the black market."
Elena’s stomach churned violently. The horror of the situation hit her all at once. "Julian didn't marry her because he loved her..."
"Julian Vance’s father, Senator Edward Vance, is dying of multi-organ failure," Dr. Mercer revealed, pulling the SUV into a dark, abandoned industrial garage. "Julian seduced Victoria, built a fake life with her, and staged a grand wedding just to legally acquire her body. The poison they gave her at the altar wasn't poison—it was Tetrodotoxin-B, a synthetic nerve agent that mimics brain death while keeping the vital organs alive."
"That's why her cheeks were rosy!" Elena gasped, tears pouring down her eyes. "Her blood was still pumping! The guy in the raincoat at the morgue..."
"...was injecting her with a preservation serum to keep her organs fresh until the illegal transplant surgery," Dr. Mercer finished. "They used the morgue to hide her body under public record. Now that the death certificate is signed and the fake funeral is over, Victoria Vance legally doesn't exist anymore."
Mark looked at his phone, his face pale. "They’re going to harvest her..."
"Tonight," Dr. Mercer nodded grimly, turning off the SUV engine. "Senator Vance’s private medical team arrived at the family’s private estate an hour ago. They are prepping Victoria for a multi-organ extraction right now. Once they cut her open, she won't survive the night."
Elena grabbed Dr. Mercer’s arm, her voice desperate. "We have to stop them! We have to go to the police, to the media!"
"The police are paid off by the Vances, Elena!" Mark said frustration rising in his voice. "We put this on the news, they’ll suppress it before it airs!"
"Then we go in ourselves," Elena declared, her eyes burning with fierce determination. "I saw her eyes, Mark. She looked right at me. She asked me to save her. I am not letting those monsters tear her apart!"
Dr. Mercer looked at Elena, a faint, tragic smile touching her lips. "You have guts, kid. Just like I used to. But you can't just walk into the Vance Estate. It’s a fortress."
"Then how do we get in?" Mark asked.
Dr. Mercer reached under her passenger seat and pulled out a heavy steel briefcase. She popped the latches open, revealing rows of surgical scalpels, sedative injectors, and a detailed floor plan layout of the Vance Estate’s subterranean bunker.
"I helped design their emergency medical facility five years ago before I realized what they were doing," Dr. Mercer said quietly. "There is a utility tunnel through the old wine cellar. But we only have forty-five minutes before the chief surgeon makes the first incision."
