Chapter 6 - The Digital Execution

Inside the subterranean panic room, the air hummed with the quiet power of military-grade servers. Olivia slid into the master console chair, her fingers flying across the dual keyboards with a speed that stunned even Ethan.
"Where did you learn to code like that?" Ethan asked, watching in absolute disbelief as she bypassed three layers of military-grade encryption in under thirty seconds.
"Working night shifts in a diner gives you a lot of time to study cybersecurity forums and dark-web archives when the coffee machine breaks down," Olivia replied without looking up, her face illuminated by the blue glow of the screens. "Besides, my foster father was an intelligence contractor before he retired off the grid. Some habits stick."
On the main display monitor, a live satellite feed of the entire eastern seaboard flickered to life. Olivia isolated a secure, encrypted satellite uplink originating from a private island off the coast of Monaco.
"Found him," Olivia whispered, a triumphant smirk playing across her lips. "Viktor Caradonna isn't hiding in the shadows. He’s sitting on a yacht watching our estate burn via live drone feed."
Ethan leaned over her shoulder, his eyes narrowing as he recognized the lavish stateroom on the screen. "Send an override command to the global financial clearinghouse. Freeze every single one of his offshore accounts, shell corporations, and asset portfolios simultaneously."
"Done before you finished asking," Olivia said, hitting the enter key with a sharp, definitive strike.
Across the globe, in a fraction of a second, billions of dollars in illicit funds vanished from Viktor's digital empire, locked behind immutable smart contracts controlled exclusively by the Caradonna family primary heir.

On the monitor, Viktor's live yacht feed exploded into chaos. Armed guards scrambled across the deck as the yacht's navigation systems shut down entirely, leaving the multi-million-dollar vessel dead in the water in the middle of a choppy, isolated sea.
"Now," Olivia whispered, turning her head to look up at Ethan, her face inches from his. "Let's invite Uncle Viktor to dinner."
