Chapter 7 - THE REBELLION OF THE HEIRSPanic erupted in the ballroom.

Several of Dante’s top capos, realizing the syndicate’s financial foundation had just been legally ripped away from under their feet, started reaching inside their suit jackets for their sidearms.
"Traitor!" one of the capos roared, drawing a pistol and aiming it straight at Evelyn.
Before Dante could even move, before Harold could react, Clara—the middle child, who had stood silently beside her mother—suddenly moved with terrifying, blinding speed.
She didn't flinch. She didn't scream.
With a practiced, ruthless precision that looked like it belonged to a seasoned assassin rather than a three-year-old girl, Clara reached into her tiny coat pocket, pulled out a small, heavy silver paperweight she had pocketed from the hotel lobby desk, and hurled it with pinpoint accuracy.
CLANG.
The heavy metal struck the capo’s wrist with bone-shattering force. The pistol dropped from his hand, clattering onto the marble floor.
Before the man could curse, Liam—the third child—stepped forward. He opened his mouth, and for the first time in his life, spoke a single, chilling command:
"Down."
It wasn't a request. It was an absolute, paralyzing command dripping with the same magnetic, terrifying authority that Dante Russo had spent thirty years cultivating in the underworld.
The capo froze. Every single armed guard in the room hesitated, their eyes locked on the three tiny children who radiated an aura of pure, unadulterated dominance.
Dante stared at his children, his breath catching in his throat. He saw himself in them—not the man he was now, tired and compromised, but the ruthless, hungry wolf he had been when he built his empire from the ground up.
"You see, Dante?" Evelyn said, her voice ringing out clearly across the stunned room. "You thought you left us with nothing. But you forgot something fundamental about blood."
May you like
She stepped right up to him, her face inches from his.
"A true Russo doesn't need to shout to be heard. And they certainly don't need to beg."
