Chapter 8 - Opening the DossierEmeka’s hands shook as he stared down at the dossier.

“What is this garbage?” Emeka spat, attempting to brush it off.
“That is Exhibit A through Z,” I replied smoothly, opening my own digital tablet and syncing it to the massive overhead projection screen behind the board.
Instantly, the corporate logo vanished, replaced by blazing financial records, bank wire transfers, and signed offshore shell company agreements.
“Between January and last month,” I continued, pointing toward the screen, “Dr. Emeka Eze and our Chief Financial Officer systematically funneled four billion naira of corporate capital into unregistered accounts in the Cayman Islands. Furthermore, the logistics truck that ran Chima Eze off the highway on Tuesday night was leased under a subsidiary shell company registered directly to Emeka’s personal driver.”
The boardroom gasped in horror. Several senior directors stood up, backing away from Emeka as if he carried a plague.
Emeka lunged across the table, his face distorted with rage. “Lies! She’s fabricating documents! Arrest her—!”
“You’re the one who’s going to be arrested, cousin,” Chima said coldly, signaling toward the heavy doors.
The doors flew open again. Three armed federal economic crime officers, accompanied by Major Danjuma, marched directly into the boardroom.
The lead officer stopped in front of Emeka, pulled out an arrest warrant, and snapped heavy steel handcuffs onto his wrists.

“Dr. Emeka Eze, you are under arrest for attempted murder, corporate embezzlement, and high-level fraud,” the officer announced loudly.
As Emeka was dragged out of the boardroom kicking and screaming, his corporate empire dissolving into ashes around him, absolute silence settled over the room.
