Chapter 10 - The Billionaire’s QueenThe sun dipped below the horizon in Lagos, painting the evening sky in brilliant shades of gold, amber, and violet.

I stood on the balcony of the grand penthouse suite overlooking the sparkling Atlantic coastline, sipping a cup of warm ginger tea.
The door opened softly, and strong, familiar arms wrapped gently around my waist from behind.
“You’ve been standing out here for an hour, my queen,” Chima murmured softly, resting his chin on my shoulder.
I leaned back against his chest, smiling. “Just thinking about how fast life can change, Chima. A month ago, I was walking down a dusty red road in Enugu with one suitcase and eight hundred naira in my shoe.”
Chima turned me around, looking deep into my eyes with a love so fierce and absolute it took my breath away.
“You didn't just walk down that road, Amara,” Chima whispered, kissing my forehead tenderly. “You walked right into my life and saved my soul. My empire, my heart, and my future—they belong to you.”
He pulled a small, elegant velvet box from his pocket and popped it open. Inside rested a magnificent diamond ring that caught the evening starlight.
“Will you marry me, Amara? Not for business, not for show, but because you are the only woman who ever loved me for who I am?”
Tears of absolute joy welled up in my eyes, and I smiled, throwing my arms around his neck.
