Chapter 6 - THE FINAL SURPRISE

Viral Title: The Billionaire Thought She Won. Then The Maid Pulled Out HER Phone!

Maya didn't fight as the steel handcuffs clicked around her wrists. Instead, a slow, dark smile spread across her face—a smile that made Victoria Sterling’s cold demeanor instantly crack.

"What are you smiling at, you little rat?" Victoria snapped.

"You're right, Victoria," Maya said, leaning forward. "Arthur’s signal jammer blocked all standard cellular networks. It knocked out 4G, 5G, and Wi-Fi."

Maya reached into her bright orange uniform pocket and pulled out a small, thick, rugged black device with a glowing blue satellite antenna.

"But it didn't block military-grade satellite uplink frequencies," Maya said softly.

Victoria’s face drained of color. "What... what is that?"

"Before I walked into that chapel with an axe, I turned on a live satellite broadcast," Maya said, her voice echoing clearly for all the reporters and officers to hear. "Every single second of what happened in that room—Arthur’s confession, Clara’s resurrection, Arthur admitting you helped him forge the death certificates, and your attempt to cover it up—was broadcast live to over twelve million viewers on the internet. It’s currently the number one trending video on Earth."

Victoria gasped, taking a step back as her chief attorney frantically looked down at his tablet, his eyes going wide with terror.

"She's... she's right, Mrs. Sterling!" the attorney stuttered, trembling. "The Department of Justice just issued an emergency federal warrant! Federal agents are on their way right now!"

Before Victoria could speak, four unmarked black SUVs pulled onto the scene at high speed, screeching to a halt. FBI agents poured out, weapons drawn, surrounding Victoria and her legal team.

"Victoria Sterling!" an agent shouted. "Hands where we can see them! You are under arrest for conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, and corporate fraud!"

Victoria’s diamond cane clattered to the pavement as agents forced her arms behind her back, placing her in cuffs. She glared at Maya with pure hatred as she was dragged toward an SUV.

The police officer holding Maya quickly unlocked her handcuffs, apologizing profusely before slipping away into the crowd.

Maya knelt back down beside Clara’s gurney. Clara reached up, tears streaming down her face, and pulled her daughter into a tight, trembling embrace.

"You saved me," Clara sobbed, holding Maya like she would never let her go again. "You really saved me..."

Maya smiled, kissing her mother’s forehead as the warm sun shone down upon them.

"I lost you once, Mom," Maya whispered softly. "I wasn't going to let them take you again."

As the ambulances and police cars blared their sirens, driving away into the city, the shattered white coffin remained on the chapel floor—empty, broken, and a symbol of a evil empire that had finally fallen.
