I dropped my weight, spinning into his reach, and hammered my heel into his knee—the same move I’d analyzed on Reed. Thorne collapsed, his gun skittering across the concrete.

I didn't go for the gun. I went for the helicopter's fuel line, ripping it loose.

"You’re finished, General!" I shouted, sprinting toward the exit as sparks began to fly from the sabotaged rotor.
