A sudden power surge cut all lights across the estate, plunging the mansion into total darkness. The emergency generator kicked on with a low, unnatural hum, casting long, twisted shadows down the hallways. A sharp scream echoed from the nursery—Leo was gone. Panic erupted through the house as Ethan raced up the stairs, gun in hand, only to find Derek tied to a chair in the guest room, his throat slashed from ear to ear.
