Chapter 16 - The Strike at Dawn

Tuesday morning arrived with a biting coastal fog over Genoa.
Vittoria’s strike team moved stealthily through the shipping container yard of Sector 9, confident that the Valente guards were nowhere to be found. They planted their explosive charges along the base of the primary storage hangars, grinning in the gray dawn light.
"Set the timer," the team leader whispered. "Ten minutes, then we blow the whole lot."
They never got the chance.
Without a single shout or warning siren, the high-intensity overhead floodlights snapped on, blinding them with a wall of white light. From behind the towering steel containers, dozens of Valente enforcers emerged like silent phantoms, their weapons raised with absolute, terrifying precision.

Before Vittoria’s men could even unholster their sidearms, they were swarmed, disarmed, and pressed hard against the cold concrete.
At the exact same minute across three different cities, financial teams seized Vittoria’s bank accounts, and tactical squads locked down every asset he owned. The entire empire of the rival syndicate was dismantled in less than an hour.
