Chapter 6 - UNRAVELING THE CONSPIRACY“The Queen Mother’s Fall!”The heavy mahogany doors of the Kane Manor crashed open.

Eleanor Kane slowly set her teacup down on the saucer, looking unbothered as Alexander walked into the grand parlor, flanked by Elena, Chloe, and dozens of federal officers.
"Alexander," Eleanor said with a smooth, aristocratic smile. "What is the meaning of this theatrical intrusion into my home?"
"Your game is up, Eleanor," Alexander said, placing a file folder on the table. "Arthur Sterling talked. Valeria Vance talked. The money trail leads straight from your private trust in Geneva to the assassins you hired to track down Elena seven years ago."
Eleanor’s smile did not fade. Instead, she took another slow sip of tea.
"Arthur is a weak fool, and Valeria was just a disposable bimbo," Eleanor said calmly, setting her cup down. "You think you've won because you found your little dishwasher and her stray child?"
"Watch your mouth!" Elena snapped, stepping forward with unprecedented courage. "I survived seven years in poverty protecting my daughter from your evil! You are nothing but a monster hiding behind silk and pearls!"
Eleanor laughed softly. "How poetic. But Alexander, you seem to forget one detail. The Kane fortune isn't governed by sentiment. It's governed by my late husband's final will. And according to his terms, if you produce an illegitimate heir without my express written consent, your entire share of the company defaults... to me."

Eleanor stood up, pulling a legal document from her desk. "You lose everything, Alexander. You, your maid, and your little girl will leave this estate penniless."
CLIFFHANGER: Alexander didn't panic. Instead, he pulled out a small black audio recording device and pressed play.
