The grand ballroom of the skyscraper was filled with laughter, music, and celebration. There were no fake elites, no superficial socialites, and no backroom corporate conspiracies. Every person in the room—from the software engineers to the custodial staff—held equity in the company.
Clare stood on the grand balcony overlooking the glittering New York skyline, holding a glass of sparkling water.
Marcus walked up beside her, smiling warmly. "The latest quarterly report just came in, Clare. We've officially broken records across every sector. And the community housing initiative is fully funded for the next decade."
"It's not just my success, Marcus," Clare said, looking out at the happy crowd inside the ballroom. "It belongs to everyone who believed that honesty and integrity matter more than shortcuts."
