The engagement party ended in chaos.
Videos spread across social media within minutes.
"The Bride Who Walked Away."
"The Billionaire Proposal Disaster."
But no one knew the real reason.
Except one woman.
Late that night, Sophia received an anonymous text.
"If you want the truth, come alone."
Attached was an address.
An abandoned lakeside cottage.
Against every instinct, she went.
Inside sat an elderly woman holding a faded photograph.

"You knew her?" Sophia whispered.

"I raised her."
