Ethan ignored the pain in his broken shoulder.

A fireball shot into the night sky.
The shockwave knocked everyone to the ground.
When the smoke finally cleared...
The building was gone.
Daniel was nowhere to be seen.
Richard had vanished.
Only twisted steel remained.
Rescue crews searched until sunrise.
Then, beneath the rubble, firefighters found a scorched metal case.
Inside were every original document, every forged contract, every secret recording, and every piece of evidence Daniel had risked his life to save.

Emily broke down in tears.
