Chapter 5 - The True Identity of 'Little Leo'Marcus tapped the second manila file against his palm. The sound was like a gavel striking wood.

"Nathan," Marcus said, his voice dropping into a cold, conversational tone. "You've spent the last two years bragging about your son. Your legacy. The child that proved your supposed 'superiority' over my niece."
Nathan glared at me, desperation creeping into his frantic eyes. "He is my son! Look at him! Blond hair, blue eyes! He's a Brooks through and through!"
"Genetics are a funny thing, Mr. Brooks," Marcus said, pulling a certified document from the second folder and holding it up for the entire room to see. "Especially when you don't check the DNA before signing the birth certificate."
Olivia swayed on her feet, clutching the stroller brake so hard her knuckles turned white. "What... what are you saying?"
"I'm saying," Marcus announced loudly, ensuring every parent and nurse in the vicinity could hear every word, "that thanks to a court-ordered paternity swab obtained during the corporate asset audit, we ran a comparative analysis."
Marcus paused, letting the heavy silence stretch across the hospital lobby.
"Nathan Brooks is not Leo's biological father."
A collective gasp echoed through the room. Olivia let out a sharp, choked cry, stumbling backward into the reception counter.
"That's a lie!" Nathan roared, lunging forward. "You forged those papers! You're trying to ruin me!"
May you like
"I didn't forge anything," I finally spoke up, stepping directly into Nathan's line of sight. My voice was calm, steady, and freezing cold. "You wanted a son so badly, Nathan. You wanted to prove your manhood, your worth, your superiority. But you were so arrogant, so blinded by your own narcissism, that you never thought to check who else Olivia was seeing while you were 'traveling for business' during our marriage."
Nathan froze, his eyes widening in pure horror as the pieces clicked together in his shattered mind.
