CHAPTER 2 – "The Secret Hidden Inside the Vase"
The Sheikh remained silent for nearly a minute.
Emily couldn't even breathe.
Then, to her complete shock...
He slowly knelt beside the broken vase.
Instead of anger...
He almost smiled.
He carefully picked up one unusual shard and gently brushed away years of dust.
Something metallic rolled across the marble floor.

Emily looked closer.
It wasn't part of the vase.

a tiny brass key.
The Sheikh closed his eyes.
"So..."
he whispered.
"It really was here."
Emily blinked in confusion.
"You... you're not angry?"
He looked at her for a long moment before answering.
"I've searched for this key for twenty-two years."
Emily stared at him.
"What key?"
"The one my grandfather hid before he died."
He explained that every expert had believed the vase was priceless because of its history.
Only one person had known its real purpose.
The vase had secretly protected a tiny compartment.
Inside...
there should have been a key leading to something the royal family had lost decades ago.
Everyone had spent years searching the palace.
They searched safes.
Hidden rooms.
Ancient libraries.
Nothing.
Because no one dared destroy the family heirloom.
Until today.
Emily hadn't ruined history.
She had accidentally unlocked it.
The Sheikh gently placed the tiny brass key into Emily's shaking hand.
"You didn't destroy my family's future."
"You just gave it back."
Emily couldn't believe what she was hearing.
But before she could respond...
The palace's elderly chief advisor suddenly burst into the hall, his face completely pale.
He looked at the key...
then at the Sheikh.
His voice shook.
"My Lord..."
"You can't open that vault."
The Sheikh frowned.
"Why not?"
The old man's lips trembled.
"Because your grandfather didn't hide a treasure inside."
"He hid... the name of the person who was never supposed to inherit this kingdom."
Emily's heart stopped.
The Sheikh slowly looked toward the ancient underground corridor beneath the palace.
