CHAPTER 7 — The Man Who Claimed to Be the Real Heir

Six months after the wedding...

Life finally seemed peaceful.

Sophia and Ethan had restored the Whitmore Foundation, donating millions to orphanages, shelters, and children's hospitals.

Jonathan had slowly returned to public life.

Margaret and Victor were both awaiting trial.

The nightmare seemed over.

Until one rainy Tuesday morning.

Sophia received a single envelope.

No return address.

Inside was only one photograph.

An old family portrait.

Jonathan...

his late wife...

a baby Sophia...

and a teenage boy standing beside them.

Across the picture, someone had written in red ink:

"You inherited the wrong fortune."

Hours later...

A black Rolls-Royce stopped outside Whitmore Tower.

A tall man in his early thirties stepped out wearing a charcoal suit.

He walked straight into the boardroom.

"My name is Adrian Whitmore."

"And I am Jonathan Whitmore's firstborn son."

Silence.

Jonathan slowly stood.

His face turned pale.

"No..."

Adrian smiled.

"You remember me."

Sophia looked between them.

"Dad..."

"You never told me I had a brother."

Jonathan closed his eyes.

"I thought he died twenty-five years ago."

Adrian placed a birth certificate and DNA report on the conference table.

Everything was authentic.

Every executive stared in disbelief.

The Whitmore empire suddenly had another legal heir.

But Adrian wasn't interested in money.

He looked directly at Sophia.

May you like

"I came back for something far more valuable."

"I came back for revenge."
