Chapter 1 - The Descent into the AbyssThe thick, heavy fog clung to the side of the mountain like a shroud. High above, Julian was already driving away, a twisted smile playing on his lips as he envisioned his multi-million-dollar insurance payout. Below, the three hired thugs—brutal mercenaries known only as Vector, Snake, and Razor—began their treacherous descent down the sheer rock face.

They carried heavy flashlights, their boots crunching against loose gravel. They expected to find a broken, motionless body at the bottom of the thirty-meter drop. They expected an easy payday.
"Keep your eyes open," Vector grunted, wiping sweat from his brow. "The drop was steep. Blood will be everywhere. Take the photos, verify the death, and we collect the second half of the cash."
"Easy money," Snake sneered, swinging his torch across the jagged rocks below. "A delicate, fragile businesswoman like her? She didn’t stand a chance."
They reached the floor of the ravine, where the temperature plunged dramatically. Darkness engulfed them, broken only by the thin beams of their tactical flashlights. Snake stepped onto the flat ground first, his light sweeping across the terrain.
"Over here!" Razor called out, pointing to a dark puddle on the stone.
They rushed forward, expecting the shattered remains of the wife. But when the light illuminated the area, all three men froze.
There was no body.
On the ground lay her crimson silk scarf, soaked in blood, alongside a shattered phone. But right beside the pool of blood were fresh, precise boot prints leading away into the pitch-black woods—prints that belonged to someone who had landed on a concealed tactical safety net suspended just fifteen meters down, unhooked themselves, and walked away completely unharmed.
"What the hell is this?" Snake gasped, his voice trembling. "She fell thirty meters! She should be dead!"
Suddenly, the cold wind died down. A soft, chilling voice echoed from the surrounding shadows, dropping the temperature in their blood to sub-zero.

"Did my husband really think three amateur scavengers could take down a Ghost?"
Before Vector could raise his weapon, a heavy shadow dropped from the tree canopy directly behind Snake. A silver blade flashed in the gloom, and Snake went down without making a sound.
