The room roared with thunderous applause as I walked onto the stage, wearing a tailored navy suit and the sharp, unyielding confidence of a woman who had survived the fire and reclaimed her empire.

I stood at the podium, looking out over the sea of world leaders, media cameras, and financial titans. Far in the front row sat my father, holding Hazel on his lap. My daughter waved her little hand at me, a brilliant, unfettered smile on her face.

"I was wrong," I said with a cold, beautiful smile. "Power is what you take back when someone underestimates you. Respect is what you command when you destroy those who harm the innocent. And legacy... legacy belongs to those who refuse to stay silent."

I turned back to the audience as the crowd rose to its feet once again. I had walked into Newport as a forgotten wife, but I stood tonight as the ruler of my own destiny.
