Chapter 16 - THE COLLAPSE OF AN DYNASTY

"No! Stop it! You're destroying decades of work!" Victor screamed, lunging forward toward the desk, but Dominic caught him by the collar and slammed him back down into the chair with bone-rattling force.

"It wasn't work, Victor," Dominic whispered in his ear. "It was theft. And the bill has finally come due."

The progress bar hit one hundred percent. A quiet, digital chime sounded from the laptop speakers.

Across the screen, a final notification appeared: All assets successfully transferred and liquidated.

Victor slumped forward, his head hitting the edge of the oak table. The billion-dollar shadow empire he had spent decades building from Zurich to Hong Kong had just vanished into nothingness, erased by a dead man's daughter and a ledger balanced in blood.

"What do we do with him?" Maren asked, looking down at Victor with cold detachment.

"We don't kill him," Dominic said, stepping back and straightening his cuffs. "Prison is too clean for a man like Victor. Let the international tax authorities find him wandering the streets with empty pockets and no name. Let him see what it feels like to fall without a safety net."

General let out a low, satisfied huff from the corner, resting his scarred head back down on his paws.
