Chapter 8 - The Syndicate’s Last StandOutside on Main Street, the shattering glass drew immediate attention. A second black SUV parked down the block doors flew open, and four more syndicate enforcers piled out, drawing weapons as they rushed toward the store.

"They're coming!" Walt yelled from his chair.
Daniel calmly picked up one of the dropped submachine guns, checking the safety. He looked at Clara, a smirk playing on his lips. "Ready to finish this?"
"Born ready," Clara replied, grabbing a heavy iron crowbar from a nearby rack. Her lifelong insecurities and the sting of cruel whispers vanished, replaced by an intoxicating surge of power and purpose.
As the first syndicate gunman kicked open the shattered door, Daniel fired a controlled burst into the wooden doorframe above their heads, sending splinters raining down. "Drop your weapons or the next rounds go through your chests!"
The enforcers hesitated, caught completely off guard by the fierce resistance in a quiet mountain town. Seizing the moment, Bane let out a deafening, blood-curdling roar that echoed down Main Street like a wolf’s challenge.

Simultaneously, Clara sprinted forward with unstoppable momentum, using her long reach and fierce determination to swing the iron crowbar with devastating precision, knocking the primary enforcer’s weapon clean out of his hands before sweeping his legs out from under him.
Within seconds, the remaining syndicate thugs realized they were hopelessly outmatched. Surrounded by a towering Cherokee warrior, an fearless giant of a woman, and a terrifying mafia-hunting hound, they dropped their weapons and raised their hands in surrender.
