Chapter 10 - THE NEW HORIZONThe morning sun streamed brightly through the floor-to-ceiling windows of my new penthouse office overlooking Central Park.

On the drafting table near the window sat a fresh sketchpad. My pencils were neatly aligned, ready for a new collection—one that bore my name, my vision, and my uncompromised soul.

The door to my office opened softly, and a pair of small arms wrapped tightly around my waist.

"Mommy, are we going to the park today?" Eli asked, looking up at me with bright, happy eyes, wearing his favorite dinosaur hoodie.

I knelt down, wrapping my arms around my son, breathing in the sweet scent of childhood and safety.

"We can go wherever you want, sweetheart," I smiled, kissing his cheek—right where the old bruises and tears were nothing more than a distant, faded memory. "Because from now on, we write our own rules."
