Chapter 13 - The Midnight Raid

At 2:00 AM, the private club was enveloped in absolute silence.

The three capos sat finishing their drinks when the heavy oak doors of the back room blew inward with a deafening crash. There were no flashing police lights, no warning shouts. Just shadows moving with terrifying, military-grade precision.

Marco Vitelli stepped through the smoke, his weapon leveled dead at the center ringleader's chest. Behind him walked Lucien and Serena, her tailored overcoat sweeping the floor, Niko fast asleep in a baby carrier strapped securely to her chest.

"You... you bugged the club?" the lead capo stammered, his face turning the color of ash as he looked at Serena.

Serena stepped forward, her heels clicking rhythmically against the hardwood floor. She looked down at the trembling men with cold detachment.

"You thought you could plot a rebellion against the house while drinking my husband's scotch," Serena said softly. "You forgot the golden rule of the Moretti syndicate: systems can be monitored, and traitors can be erased."

Lucien didn't draw his gun. He simply watched his wife command the room with a lethal elegance that made hardened killers look like schoolboys.

"Pack your bags," Lucien commanded coldly. "You have until sunrise to board a cargo freighter bound for South America. If any of you ever set foot on North American soil again, your families won't even find pieces to bury."
