In the private study of the Manhattan penthouse, Niko—now five years old—sat quietly on the floor with a wooden puzzle, trying to fit complex geometric shapes together while his parents reviewed global asset portfolios at the grand desk.

Lucien looked down at his son, then at Serena, whose sharp eyes were scanning a list of new European port acquisitions.

"Do you think he'll want this life?" Lucien asked softly, gesturing vaguely toward the security monitors displaying the underground war room.

Serena looked down at Niko, watching his bright, intelligent eyes focus entirely on solving the puzzle without getting frustrated.

"He won't have to choose this life or run from it," Serena said firmly. "Because we built an empire where power isn't maintained by fear, and survival isn't bought with blood alone. He will rule whatever world he chooses."
