💥 CHAPTER 7 — Vincent's Mother Opened Her Eyes... And Spoke the One Name That Destroyed Everything He Believed

Emma's entire body trembled.

She stood frozen before the massive glass chamber.

Inside floated Isabella Moretti.

The woman the world believed had been murdered twenty-three years ago.

Her skin looked pale but untouched by time.

Machines hummed softly around the tank.

Blue liquid circulated through dozens of tubes connected to her body.

Emma whispered,

"This... isn't possible."

Uncle Michael smiled.

"Death is sometimes the easiest lie to sell."

He pressed another button.

The blue liquid slowly drained.

The chamber unlocked with a heavy metallic hiss.

For the first time in over two decades...

Isabella Moretti opened her eyes.

She gasped for air.

Doctors rushed forward.

Emma couldn't move.

She had spent years believing the woman was dead.

So had Vincent.

Isabella slowly looked around the laboratory.

Then her eyes stopped on Emma.

Tears rolled down her face.

"You look exactly like your mother..."

Emma's heart nearly stopped.

"You knew my mother?"

Isabella nodded weakly.

"We were sisters."

Emma staggered backward.

"No..."

"My mother never had a sister."

Michael quietly replied,

"That's because we erased every record."

Emma's entire childhood...

Every official document...

Every family photograph...

Had been fabricated.

Nothing about her past was real.

Meanwhile...

Miles away...

Vincent's intelligence team finally cracked the encrypted files hidden inside Emma's necklace.

Thousands of documents appeared on the screen.

Secret government contracts.

Bank transfers.

Lists of judges...

Politicians...

Military generals...

Every one of them secretly controlled by the same mysterious organization.

The file had only one title:

THE CIRCLE

Marco's hands shook.

"This isn't just a criminal network."

"It's a shadow government."

One final video file remained encrypted.

Vincent clicked PLAY.

Static filled the screen.

Then...

His father appeared.

Older.

Terrified.

"If you're watching this..."

"It means I failed."

He looked directly into the camera.

"The Circle infiltrated both the Moretti and Romano families decades ago."

"We thought we were rivals..."

"But we were only puppets."

Vincent clenched his fists.

His father continued,

"There is only one person who can expose every member."

"Emma Carter."

"Protect her..."

"No matter what it costs."

The video suddenly glitched.

A masked figure entered behind Vincent's father.

One gunshot.

The screen went black.

Silence filled the room.

Marco whispered,

"They murdered him while he was recording..."

Vincent slowly stood.

His eyes no longer held anger.

They held certainty.

"The war ends tonight."

Hours later...

Using satellite data from the tracker hidden inside Emma's necklace, Vincent located the underground laboratory.

Every captain prepared for battle.

Helicopters lifted into the night.

Armored vehicles crossed the countryside.

More than four hundred loyal soldiers followed Vincent toward the mountain facility.

As dawn approached...

Explosions shattered the mountainside.

The assault had begun.

Walls collapsed.

Smoke covered the valley.

Vincent stormed through the burning corridors.

Room after room.

Enemy after enemy.

Nothing could stop him.

Until...

He reached the central laboratory.

It was empty.

The restraints were broken.

The chamber where his mother had been kept...

Was gone.

Only one thing remained.

May you like

A fresh pool of blood.

And Emma's silver necklace.
