🔥 CHAPTER 5 — THE FBI WALKED INTO THE HANGAR... AND THE REAL VILLAINS FINALLY LOST EVERYTHING

The moment Sofia placed the classified folder on the workbench, every conversation inside the hangar stopped.

Even the mechanics who had been whispering among themselves fell silent.

Across the front of the folder were several official government seals.

One of them belonged to the United States Federal Aviation Investigation Task Force.

Another carried the insignia of an international aviation safety commission.

Samuel stared at Sofia in disbelief.

"You've been working with federal investigators?"

Sofia nodded.

"For nearly seven years."

The room froze.

Andres frowned.

"Seven years?"

"I disappeared from the public because I wasn't hiding."

"I was gathering evidence."

She slowly opened the folder.

Inside were hundreds of photographs.

Internal emails.

Bank transfers.

Engineering reports.

Secret contracts.

Every page connected another piece of the puzzle.

"The defective engine components were never accidents."

Gasps echoed around the hangar.

"They were manufactured with cheaper alloys to reduce production costs."

"Executives approved them anyway."

"They knew the parts would eventually fail."

Samuel's face turned pale.

"They gambled with people's lives..."

"They gambled with thousands of them."

Before anyone could speak again...

The massive hangar doors suddenly began opening.

Outside...

Flashing blue and red lights illuminated the night.

More than twenty black government SUVs rolled onto the tarmac.

Armed federal agents stepped out one after another.

Behind them came aviation investigators, forensic engineers, and financial crime officers.

The lead agent walked directly toward Sofia.

"Dr. Alvarez."

She nodded calmly.

"I assume the warrants have been signed."

"They have."

He handed her a thick document.

"Thanks to your evidence, thirty-four executives from four international aerospace corporations are being arrested tonight."

Several mechanics gasped.

One quietly whispered,

"This is bigger than anyone imagined."

Within minutes, phones across the hangar began ringing nonstop.

News alerts flooded every screen.

BREAKING NEWS

Global Aviation Corruption Network Exposed.

Billions of Dollars in Fraud Under Investigation.

Executives Arrested in Multiple Countries.

One mechanic looked at Andres.

"Sir..."

"Your competitors..."

"They're all on the arrest list."

Andres stared at the screen in disbelief.

For years, those companies had crushed smaller competitors, bribed inspectors, and manipulated safety reports.

Tonight...

Their empires were collapsing.

Then Agent Michael Carter turned toward Andres.

"Mr. Yavregi."

Andres swallowed hard.

"Am... am I under arrest?"

The agent shook his head.

"No."

"You inherited a company that had been infiltrated long before you became CEO."

"We found no evidence that you participated in the conspiracy."

Relief washed over the room.

But Sofia quietly added,

"That doesn't mean you're free from responsibility."

Andres lowered his eyes.

"I know."

"If I had cared more about people than profits..."

"I might have discovered the truth years ago."

Sofia looked at him for several seconds.

Then she said softly,

"Real leadership begins the moment excuses end."

For the first time in his life...

The billionaire had no answer.

But the greatest surprise of the night was still waiting.

One of the federal investigators approached Sofia carrying another file.

"Doctor..."

"We finally identified the person who ordered your downfall."

Sofia's expression changed.

She slowly opened the file.

The photograph inside caused her to stop breathing.

"No..."

"It can't be..."

Because staring back at her...

Was the smiling face of the man she had once trusted more than anyone else.
