CHAPTER 2 — "The Sheikh Tried to Destroy Her... But He Had No Idea Who Had Just Walked Into the Restaurant."

The room remained frozen.

Nobody moved.

Nobody even reached for their food.

Sheikh Kareem slowly stood up.

His expression hardened.

"You speak Arabic," he said quietly.

Emma nodded.

"I do."

"Where did you learn it?"

"My father believed every language opens a different door."

The answer only frustrated him.

He hated mysteries.

Especially ones he couldn't control.

"You embarrassed me."

Emma answered calmly.

"No, sir."

"You embarrassed yourself."

Several businessmen lowered their eyes.

One of them quietly whispered,

"She shouldn't have said that..."

Another whispered back,

"Neither should he."

The sheikh slammed his hand against the table.

"Manager!"

Within seconds, the restaurant manager rushed over, sweating.

"Yes, Your Excellency?"

"I want this waitress fired."

The manager looked terrified.

"I'm... I'm sure we can resolve—"

"No."

The sheikh interrupted.

"I own companies larger than this restaurant. If she's still working here tomorrow, you'll regret it."

The manager turned toward Emma helplessly.

"I'm... I'm sorry..."

Emma simply untied her apron.

She folded it neatly.

Placed it on the table.

And smiled.

"I was planning to resign tonight anyway."

The sheikh laughed triumphantly.

"There. That's where arrogant people end up."

Emma reached into her pocket.

Instead of collecting her final paycheck...

She removed a simple silver business card.

No logo.

No decoration.

Just one elegant name engraved across the center.

She handed it to the manager.

"Please give this to the restaurant owner."

The manager looked confused.

Then he read the name.

His hands immediately started shaking.

His face lost every drop of color.

"What...?"

He looked at Emma.

Looked back at the card.

Then suddenly bowed his head.

Deeply.

Much deeper than anyone had ever seen him bow to a customer.

Every guest gasped.

The businessmen exchanged frightened glances.

Even Sheikh Kareem frowned.

"What is happening?"

The manager whispered with trembling lips,

"Sir..."

"This isn't just one of our employees."

"She's..."

Before he could finish, every phone inside the restaurant buzzed at exactly the same moment.

One notification.

One breaking announcement.

May you like

One name.

And the sheikh's confident smile vanished forever.
