Chapter 7 - The Silent StormThe attack on Terminal 4 was not a messy shootout; it was a surgical execution.

While Julian’s heavy tactical team drew the police officers' fire near the main gate with flashbangs and heavy suppression rifles, Lucian and Mara slipped beneath the wooden piers, moving through the cold seawater and shadows.
Mara’s height and agility made her lethal in the dark. Guided by the vibrations of heavy machinery overhead, she moved like a ghost through the support pillars, cutting power cables and setting tactical thermite charges on the crane's primary hydraulic pumps.
Above them, gunfire erupted—a chaotic chorus of automatic weapons that Mara could only feel as deep, pulsing thuds in her ribcage.
She climbed the rusted steel ladder leading to the crane’s control platform.
Inside the cabin, the crane operator was frantically pulling levers, trying to accelerate the loading of the final container.
Mara kicked open the glass door. Before the operator could draw his sidearm, she slammed the heavy handle of her trauma shears into his temple. He collapsed instantly across the control panel.
Mara looked down through the glass floor of the cabin.
Directly beneath her, Mayor Sterling and Viktor were rushing toward the white yacht, surrounded by four remaining bodyguards.
Mara reached for the crane’s main override switch. She didn't know how to operate the cargo hook, but she knew structural mechanics—her father had left his blueprints in her childhood home.
She slammed her hand down on the red emergency release lever.
The massive steel crane arm swung violently to the left. The twenty-ton steel shipping container suspended in mid-air snapped its support cables and plummeted forty feet down, crushing the gangway of the yacht with an earth-shattering crash.

The impact sent a shockwave through the pier that knocked Viktor and Sterling off their feet.
Mara descended the ladder in seconds, her pistol drawn, her eyes locked on the wreckage below.
