CHAPTER 2 – The Fight That Changed the Entire Prison

The abandoned laundry room smelled of rust, bleach, and old blood.

Broken washing machines lined the walls.

More than two hundred inmates packed every corner, whispering excitedly.

Some were already placing bets.

"Thirty seconds."

"Scarlett wins."

"No chance."

Emily stepped into the center of the room wearing the same gray prison uniform.

Her face showed no fear.

Scarlett cracked her knuckles.

"You still have time to beg."

Emily calmly shook her head.

"I came here to end this."

The room burst into laughter.

Then...

The signal came.

Scarlett charged like a freight train.

A devastating punch flew toward Emily's face.

But...

Emily slipped sideways with shocking speed.

Scarlett stumbled.

Confusion flashed across her face.

The crowd went silent.

Scarlett attacked again.

This time faster.

Stronger.

Emily blocked every strike with precise movements that looked almost effortless.

No wasted energy.

No panic.

No anger.

Only discipline.

Within seconds, bruises began appearing on Scarlett's arms from her own failed attacks.

The inmates couldn't believe what they were seeing.

"Who is this woman?"

Scarlett screamed and grabbed a metal pipe lying nearby.

The fight instantly became deadly.

Several prisoners looked away.

Emily didn't.

She waited.

One swing.

Two swings.

On the third...

Emily caught Scarlett's wrist in midair.

Twisted.

The pipe crashed to the floor.

Before anyone could react...

Emily pinned the feared prison queen to the concrete.

One arm locked behind Scarlett's back.

The room froze.

Scarlett...

The undefeated champion...

Couldn't move.

Emily leaned closer and whispered something only Scarlett could hear.

Scarlett's eyes widened with genuine terror.

Not pain.

Recognition.

Emily stood up and walked away without throwing another punch.

Nobody understood.

Why had Scarlett suddenly stopped fighting?

Why did the toughest woman in prison refuse to even look at Emily afterward?

Later that night...

Scarlett sat alone in her cell.

Her hands were shaking.

May you like

She whispered just four words.

"It can't be her..."
