Emily and Scarlett reached the old laundry room.
The same place where they had fought.
But this time, the room was empty except for one man.
Warden Hale.
He was holding Emilyâs hidden federal badge.
His smile was calm.
"Did you really think you were investigating me?"
Emily froze.
The warden opened a metal cabinet.
Inside were files, photos, and recordings of every inmate he had controlled.
Then he revealed the final truth.
Scarlettâs brother had never died in a gang fight.
He had been murdered inside Blackridge because he refused to work for Hale.
Scarlett collapsed.
Her entire reign of fear had been built on a lie.
Emily stepped forward.
But Hale raised a gun.
"One more step, Agent Carter, and this prison becomes your grave."
Then Scarlett slowly stood behind Emily.
Tears in her eyes.
Rage in her voice.
"No..."
"This prison is already yours."
