My father was moved into a peaceful, sunlit, high-end care facility just five minutes from my house—a place where he was treated with dignity, specialized care, and genuine respect.
Every single day after school, Dany would run into my father’s sunny room, holding up his latest drawings. My father’s face would light up with a radiant, joyful smile that I had never, not once, seen him direct toward Chelsea or Carter.
